Like many entrepreneurs, Peter got his start working in the industry that would launch his business.
He first learned to swing a hammer working alongside family members in the construction industry as a young man, doing roofing and home building in the Chicagoland area. After a few years, he moved to selling replacement windows for Alside, a company that he still represents to this day.
During his sales calls and conversations with customers, Peter heard roofing horror stories of companies that promised good service but never delivered. It was this experience, along with his entrepreneurial instincts, that compelled him to launch Pro-Home Services in 2003. He was determined to create a roofing company known for its integrity, where the PRO stands for Professionalism, Reliability, and a sense of Ownership over the work the company does.
Soon, Pro-Home Services expanded their roofing business to include other exterior improvements such as siding, windows, and doors. Now, Pro-Home Services helps clients envision an exciting, refreshed home exterior with quality products, then installs them with quality and care, at the hands of a very experienced, licensed, and certified team.
Pro-Homes has built its legacy in Chicagoland and the industry. They’ve earned accolades from Angie’s List, Best Picks, the Better Business Bureau, and the Annual Award for Business Excellence from the Daily Herald Business Ledger. They participate in community events in Glen Ellyn and throughout Chicagoland, including home shows, and support the Disabled American Veterans.
